a creed about leaves.
It goes, “How to be
So like me is to be
Like a tree.
For to be is to be
So tumultuously
Like a Bee, on a
Tree with a Queen
Who will feed
On a Bee just like
Me, if there’s ever
A need.
Heed, heathen heed,
My most venerable
Creed!
I may be
By a tree with a
Thirst to be free,
But a seed
Like one of these
Is at first one
